Extending the Diagnostic Capabilities of Artificial Intelligence-Based Instructional Systems

چکیده
WINTER 2015 51 Computer-based educational technology has had a transformative impact in every imaginable educational context — from tablet-based educational games for preschoolers, to massively open online courses for university students and independent learners. Artificial intelligence (AI) research solutions have the potential to boost the impact of these systems by enhancing their diagnostic capabilities. For example, unlike one-on-one human tutoring, it is rare to find computer-based learning environments that not only provide opportunities for practice on complex problems (such as working on multistep algebra problems, or practicing programming by writing multiline code), but also provide contextually relevant feedback and guidance based on an analysis of individual problem-solving actions. In contrast,

Explain the theoretical and practical model of automatic facade design intelligence in the process of implementing the rules and regulations of facade design and drawing
Artificial intelligence has been trying for decades to create systems with human capabilities, including human-like learning; Therefore, the purpose of this study is to discover how to use this field in the process of learning facade design, specifically learning the rules and standards and national regulations related to the design of facades of residential buildings by machine with a machine ...
متن کاملArtificial Intelligence Tools in Health Information Management
Application of ICT in health (eHealth) has become an integral part of modern healthcare systems. Electronic health information management has proven useful in improving quality of health care, reducing costs and facilitating health research. However, the increasing complexity of healthcare and the growing demand for high quality healthcare delivery has created a need for eHealth systems with t...

This paper presents a description of the environments of individualized learning (Based on the Intelligent Tutoring Systems, ITS), the Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) and the artificial intelligence techniques called: Instructional Planning (IP) and Case-Based Reasoning (CBR). Finally ALLEGRO is presented, a MAS environment of support to the teaching/...
متن کاملInforming: A Cognitive Load Perspective
In instructional psychology, cognitive load theory has applied knowledge of processing limitations of human cognitive system to enhance effectiveness of instructional procedures and information presentation formats. Underlying assumptions and principles of cognitive load theory are based on a recently proposed evolutionary perspective that regards both human cognitive architecture and biologica...
متن کاملGENERATION OF SYNTHETIC EARTHQUAKE RECORDS BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNIQUES
For seismic resistant design of critical structures, a dynamic analysis, based on either response spectrum or time history is frequently required. Due to the lack of recorded data and randomness of earthquake ground motion that might be experienced by the structure under probable future earthquakes, it is usually difficult to obtain recorded data which fit the necessary parameters (e.g. soil ty...
